These single-coat systems are typically used on applications in which the coating will come in contact with food items, and can be formulated to withstand temperatures up to 500Á Fahrenheit (260Á Celsius). Common end uses include waffle makers, deep fryers, bakeware, pizza pans, kitchen utensils, and the interior or exterior of economical cookware sets.
This system is typically employed where extremely high-temperature operating conditions are expected. These systems can be formulated to withstand temperatures up to 1000Á Fahrenheit (538Á Celsius) and common applications include barbecue grill, drip trays, iron sole plates, stove tops, fireplaces and automotive parts.
Akzo Nobel also offers a variety of high-temperature "functional/decorative" coatings for application on the exterior of cookware, bakeware and electrical appliances. These custom-design systems are very attractive and unique, and can withstand temperatures up to 550Á Fahrenheit (288Á Celsius). |
